Horeb United Reformed Church meets for Family Worship every Sunday morning.
Normally the Service begins at 9.30 a.m., but occasionally, in order to help Bethel (Presbyterian Church of Wales), who share our building with us, a joint Service is held at 10.30 a.m.
In addition on two or three Sundays during the year when Horeb and Bethel share a meal together, the morning service is at 11.00 a.m.
Everyone is welcome to our services.
Worship is led by a variety of ministers, lay preachers or the church’s worship group.
The 9.30 a.m. services are in English and include hymns and songs, readings, prayers and a sermon. The joint services, are predominantly in English, but some elements are in Welsh.
The service normally lasts for about an hour, and following the Service we take time for a tea or coffee and a chat.
Details of the times of each Service can be found via the ‘What’s On’ page.
Children and Young People are welcome to all our services and activities are provided.
We normally celebrate Communion on the first Sunday in each month. Again, all are invited to share in this part of the service.
We celebrate the Christian festivals of Easter, Christmas, Harvest and other special Sundays with special services. Look out for details of these on our website or notice-boards.
We are always pleased to receive enquiries about Baptisms or Blessing Services. We are also registered to hold Weddings. Please use the Contact Us page if you would like to discuss holding any of these at Horeb.
