The Harvest Supper on 30th September happened before the Harvest Thanksgiving Service; strange, perhaps, but that’s how it was! After a good meal Margaret Williams spoke about the many challenges and successes of North Wales Superkids. They are now within sight of reaching the £60,000 target to replace their ageing holiday caravan, and we added the profit from the supper – £100.
The Harvest Service followed on Sunday. David focussed on the parable of the sower. A large table full of goodies was sent to Ty Golau (the night shelter) in Rhyl. Plants were taken to the aged and infirm afterwards. The church had been beautifully decorated.
