The following describes the situation as it was before the Pandemic made it impossible for us to continue safely.
When we are able to do so we hope to continue this important and much enjoyed aspect of our village life.
The Dyserth Community Lunch normally takes place on the first Wednesday in the month in the Paterson Hall. Anyone, young or old, can come and enjoy a two course cooked meal with a cup of tea for just £3.50.
The food is locally sourced and prepared and cooked on the premises by a qualified cook. There is a fixed menu each time but this has included shepherd’s pie; sausage, onion and mushroom casserole and chicken casserole, all with vegetables and a hot pudding to follow.
If you would like to come to the Community Lunch we ask that you drop us a line so we know how many to cater for. We usually have about 20 – 25 people sitting down to eat each time.
We open just after 12 noon with the lunch served just about 12.30 pm
