In the days when there is so much media negativity given to young people it was so good to be part of this service which was at the start of One World Week.
The service was taken by our own FURY Group - Fellowship of United Reformed Youth - and they started by introducing themselves. It was great to see a 'Liverpool' supporter' standing next to a 'Manchester United' supporter in friendship, and to hear their wide range of abilities from horse riding to drama to football to music.
The theme of the service was the Environment and our World. Their presentations, prayers and sketches were excellent. Heather - FURY's leader - did a survey amongst the congregation which showed that we do mostly try our best with all the recycling issues, but maybe could do a little better.
I would like to wish all the members of FURY good luck in the future and hope this group continues to grow and flourish, Well done to you all.
