Craft Fair draws the crowds Print E-mail

Whichever way you came into Dyserth you were faced with a series of three placards advertising the Horeb Craft Fair - the work of Heather and David who had been round hammering them in to the verges. This not only resulted in more customers, but also in more stalls, as craft groups and individuals asked to be part of the event.

In the end there were ten selling points with goods ranging from chutney to hand made jigsaw puzzles. The café was kept busy, and when the totting up was done the church benefited by £268.

The next day was harvest, with splendid displays excellently shown off by cunning use of our new staging. The table which invited gifts for the Rhyl Night Shelter was overflowing with goodies, much to the delight of Andrew Marshall who took them away. Different village organisations had each decorated at window sill, so that the whole place looked suitably festive.

A lot of thanks are due to a lot of people, so we won't even try mentioning names; but just say to everyone 'well done!'
