 The make-over of Horeb is complete! The new exterior notice board arrived in the middle of August and has been fixed in a position where people walking up the High Street will see it. It will accommodate 8 A4 posters, or fewer A3 ones. It is rain proof, vandal proof, shatter proof and slug proof.
Towards the end of the month the mobile staging arrived. It has its own trolley for when any or all of it is not in use. It is easy for one person to erect and dismantle it, but those intending to do so should seek advice on the correct method, to ensure complete safety.
All this fits well into the diary, for, in common with churches throughout Wales we shall observe Saturday 6 September as Open Churches Day. You will find the details elsewhere in this issue. It would be good if we could also have the church open at other times for anyone who would like to spend some quiet time.
