Young People in the Synod |

Not everyone may know that after many years of making do, the Wales Synod now has a full-time CYDO - Children and Youth Development Officer - in the person of Judy Harris. Judy is well known in the Synod, she was for some years a Church Related Community Worker in Llanelli.
There will be a youth event running parallel with the Synod. Our young people have been there in force before, and we hope they will on 14 November. Leaflets about this will be available very soon.
From 11 to 13 December There is a URC FURY Forum at The Hayes, Swanwick.
The FURY Assembly takes place from 29 - 31 January 2010 at The Pioneer Centre, Cleobury Mortimer, near Kidderminster.
There is financial help available from the Synod for young people who want to go to these events, and transport can usually be arranged. Speak to David Salsbury, or Maddy Whyler to get more details.
